As an survivor of abuse, I know that there is sometimes very little help within the family structure when dealing with physical, mental, and sexual abuse. The problem can be too emotional for family members to handle. We need professionals who are trained and can help. We NEED to keep politics out of this, these bills are for anyone in this country to feel safe, protected and supported no matter WHO you are.
